Away from the stunning beaches, one of the most popuar attractions is to take the gondola 700 feet above Charlotte Amalie, the capital of the US Virgin Islands, for incredible panoramic views of Magens Bay and the other islands from the top of St. Peter Mountain.
During the evenings, there is a large selection of bars, restaurants and evening entertainment in historic downtown Charlotte Amalie. Other night time activities revolve around the major resorts such as the Cruzan Beach Club at Secret Harbour Resort.

Saint Thomas has a tropical climate and averages temperatures of 83°F throughout the year. Between March and June, the weather is normally dry and is the best time to visit for a holiday with accommodation prices much lower than in the peak December to February months. The hurricane season runs from July to October where humidity is at its highest due to the frequent tropical showers and high temperatures which can creep in to the mid thirties.
